Exercising With Arthritis
I have actually suffered from rheumatoid arthritis. However, there is also osteoporosis, and either way, it makes it hard to exercise sometimes. I like to use machines that actively involve the hands, and it makes it really hard sometimes to actually hold onto those parts and do that part of the exercise that is actually required in some cases, because I have rather random bouts of my fingers just burning in so many ways.
It is not actually related to heat or cold. They always like to say that, but realistically speaking it has nothing to do with that. Even if you don’t have arthritis, frankly your fingers and joints can get frozen and a bit stiff when it’s really cold out. So it has no relation really to the arthritis. That being said, sometimes it’s even hard to walk, because if your knees are the ones burning, it’s flat out painful.
You can take aspirin, but it only lasts so long and then you have to take more, and it’s flat out convenient. But realistically speaking, if you can build up the muscle around those joints, it’s really beneficial, and moreover, you really need to exercise for your other health. So I would suggest combining aspirin with chondroitin and glucosamine. That will really help you.
