Is Krill Oil Better For Weight Loss?

There is much talk about the benefits of omega 3 fatty acids and therefore the generalized benefits of fish oil, salmon oil, and other oils in general.  But there are some saying that the benefits of krill oil are actually better than those of any kind of fish oil or otherwise.  There is a recent study that was published in the Journal of Nutrition that states that omega 3’s specifically found in krill oil are more frequent and reduce the fat around the heart and liver as well as of course the rest of the body in general.  Of course, fat deposits in those specific area contribute to heart disease and other serious obesity related diseases.  This suggests that the krill oil is actually superior to fish oil.  At this time, this is one study, and it was conducted on rats.  There have really been no follow up studies or otherwise that show the same results or anything like that at all.  However, there have been multiple studies on the benefits of omega 3 oils found in fish oil and they have actually been proven in humans.  So I would rely more on those than I would on other choices.
