Maintaining A Healthy Weight

Frankly speaking, in some ways ensuring that you maintain a healthy weight is ensuring that you will maintain a longer life.  Now there are exceptions to this rule of course.  My uncle was a health nut, only growing his own foods and the like, and he died at 55 of cancer.  It happens.  But in general terms, if you follow certain rules, you are probably going to live longer as a general rule.  For example, if your mother was young when she gave birth to you, actually you have a higher likelihood of reaching 100. 

This is not something under your control.  But for example, drinking tea is, and tea is a well known weight loss supplement in general.  Likewise, if you prefer to walk, take the stairs, otherwise, you will be able to maintain greater weight loss and greater results in general.  Walking just 30 minutes per day makes a huge difference.  Likewise, if you avoid sodas, it makes a huge difference, and if you have strong legs, actually it helps you. 

Strong legs helps because you are far less likely to suffer for example hip surgeries, falls, and otherwise things that may shorten your lifespan when you are older.  If you eat purple foods, it reduces your risk of cardiovascular disease, and if you maintain a lower weight even in adolescence, it helps you.  If you don’t like hamburgers, they are high in fat and bad calories.  So this prolongs your life.  Basically, being healthy prolongs your possible lifespan.
