Soy For Weight

Personally I’ve always been a fan of soy.  Whether replacing meat and thereby achieving weight loss or just using it for heart health or otherwise, soy is full of the right stuff.  Now I’ve heard some controversy surrounding it saying it’s bad in high amounts.  Anything can be bad in excess, we’ve learned this, or don’t we remember?  Anyway, for me at least soy is a good thing.  I can’t say I’m a big fan of soy cheese or soy milk with the exception or Organic Valley.

But that being said, frankly speaking apparently it can also benefit vegetarian or vegan diabetics.  It gives you a good amount of protein of course, and this being said, it can apparently help to control hyperglycemia, reduce body weight, improve hyperlipidemia, and hyperinsulinemia to name a few.  This being said, you can get it from soymilk, soy flour, and tofu among other various sources.  Frankly speaking, there is a Bolthouse protein drink that they have in both chai and cappuccino flavors I believe it is.  Both taste pretty good, and they have about 40g of protein from soy.  So it’s quite easy to get your daily protein requirements using soy based products.
