Teen Dieting

Some of the people I’ve seen with the biggest weight problems yet created have failed to follow every basic do not rule of dieting.  I will go with one classic example actually.  First of all, she didn’t diet because she wanted to.  Her mom went on hundreds of diets, quite literally, and every time she went on a diet, she took this girl with her, from the time she was 10 years old.  So she’s used to the various changes.  Second, she went on every fad diet available. 

They ranged from cutting out entire food groups to only using prepackaged meals(and of course she ended up eating more than one at a time) to cutting out all the foods she liked.  She never actually learned about healthy eating habits in general, and she wanted to take the easy way out.  Third, she never really devoted herself to exercising.  She thought that losing weight would be easier and it ended up coming back, because again she never exercised. 

This ended of course with no weight loss in the first place or for that matter yo yo dieting.  All in all, she was never really taught a good diet plan in her childhood or teens in general, and she never really had the motivation needed.  Yes her mom has always had struggles, but maybe this is a big part of it, an obvious part of it realistically speaking.
